Creating Stereoscopic Clip

Selecting a File Used in Pair to Set as a Stereoscopic Clip

If either the L side clip (for left eye) or the R side clip (for right eye) is in the bin, select a file used in pair to make a single stereoscopic clip.

1) Select and right-click the clip to set as stereoscopic in the bin, and click [Set as Stereoscopic].

2) Select a file from the [Select pair files] list.

3) Set each item.

[Select pair files]

Displays the information for the searched files.

If files to be used in pair do not exist, click [Browse folder] to change the search folder.

Click in [Sync] to select the position to synchronize the L side and the R side clips. The setting will be reflected in the [Preview] display.

Every click switches the sorting order to be ascending or descending.

[Preview]

Displays the L side clip at the left, and the R side clip at the right. Move the slider or enter the timecode in [Cur] to view video.

Click [Monitor preview] to view the stereoscopic video of the current position in the preview window.

Click to switch the L side and the R side videos.

4) Click [OK].

Setting Separate L and R Clips in the Bin as Stereoscopic

If both the L side (for left eye) and the R side (for right eye) clips are in the bin, set them as a single stereoscopic clip.

1) Select and right-click the L side and the R side clip (or clips) to set as a stereoscopic clip in the bin, and click [Set as Stereoscopic].

2) Set each item.

[Stereoscopic clips]

Displays information on the stereoscopic clip.

The clip name to be created as a stereoscopic clip is displayed in [Clip Name].

Click in [Sync] to select the position to synchronize the L side and the R side clips. It will be reflected in the [Preview] display.

When multiple clips of the L and R sides are selected, click [Auto pairing] to automatically sort them so that clips with high degree of similarity are paired.

[Preview]

Displays the L side clip at the left, and the R side clip at the right. Move the slider or enter the timecode in [Cur] to view video.

Click [Monitor preview] to view the stereoscopic video of the current position in the preview window.

Click to switch the L side and the R side video.

3) Click [OK].

Canceling Stereoscopic Clips

Cancel a stereoscopic clip to reset to 2 separate clips.

1) Select and right-click stereoscopic clip (or clips) in the bin, and click [Cancel Stereoscopic].

Setting Stereoscopic Clips as Sequence/Cancelling Sequence

Set multiple stereoscopic clips in the same format as a single sequence clip, or cancel the sequence clips.

The operation procedure is the same as for settings as sequence/canceling sequence.

Handling Non-Stereoscopic Clips as Stereoscopic Clips

Non-stereoscopic clips where video is divided by side-by-side or tom-and-bottom, etc. can be handled as stereoscopic clips.

1) Select and right-click a clip in the bin or source browser, and click [Properties].

2) Click the [Stereoscopic] tab.

3) Check [Use as Stereoscopic clip], and select an item from the [Divide setting] list.

4) Click [OK].
