The following information will help with setup, operation, and shutdown of the GV Director system.

• GVD-FLEX and GVD-PRO-BL features:
• Second record channel for live feeds.
• Clean Feed output is the ability to provide a program output that doesn’t include any graphics. Clean Feed is an option on an Aux input.
• Enhanced Audio Pinning allows for the ability to persist any audio input over the program output.
• Non-Latin Character Support - GV Director now supports Non-latin character sets via a new rendering engine. This provides the ability to support graphics that display Arabic, Tamil, and other contextual-based fonts.
• Program Preview mode for Program to Stage mimics a traditional switcher - This is a feature that allows Grass Valley Director to behave like a traditional switcher. You can turn this mode on, and when you transition something from Stage to Program, what was on the Program automatically goes to the Stage.
• GVD-PRO-BL features:
• Assistant Director Tool that runs on any Windows 7 capable computer. The tool provides the ability to change graphic titles, create multiple playlists, load clips onto program or stage, adjust chroma key values and many other features.
• Router Control for N-Vision Compact routers give you the ability to expand the GV Director IO by enabling certain inputs to be dynamic inputs which can be fed by an N-Vision Compact router. Operators can then dynamically change inputs being fed by the router from the panel.

The GV Director Composer application GPU RAM requirement is now 768MB.
