Hard Drive Almost Full and Full Warning Messages

In the System Information screen, the Disk Space Used and State field displays how much space is available. You will see warning messages when your disk is 95% full or 99% full. If you are recording when one of these messages appears, your recording will stop. You will not be able to add production packs or media to the server. When the almost full message appears, the media space has reached 99% full and the ability to Save will be unavailable. The easiest way to free disk space is to delete or transfer media.

  1. From the Configuration screen, select Diagnostics.

    The System Information screen displays.

    When the disk space is 95% full, you will see the following message:

    When the disk space is full, you will see the following messages:

    When you see these messages, you will not be able to record a program or send media to the server.

    The easiest way to free disk space is to transfer or delete media.

    To delete media:

  2. From the Configuration menu, select File Transfer.

    The File Transfer menu displays:

    Note: You may also view the media list by selecting an empty shotbox. You may delete a media effect from this list by holding the clear button and selecting the effect you want to delete.

  3. Select the X next to the filename to delete the media. The media will be permanently deleted.
