Changing the Signal Path from the Backup to the Main using the Matrix Application 
After completion of an Engage Failover, the following procedure explains how to return the signal path from the backup to the main.
 

NOTE: The following procedure includes steps that use the iControl Router Manager For details about iControl Router Manager configuration, see the iControl Router Manager Quick Start Guide.

 

IMPORTANT: The following Failover procedure is applicable only if your iC Web site offers Failover functionality.

The following image shows the signal path from the main to the backup as it should be after completion of the procedure.

REQUIREMENT:  
Before beginning this procedure, make sure you have opened iControl for the Application Server running the router service (click HERE).
1. On the iControl—Startup page, click iC Router Control.
System Response: The Router Manager page appears.

2. In the row corresponding to the router requiring configuration, click Matrix.
System Response: A Matrix View window appears.

NOTE: Single bus is more practical if the matrix has an abundance of rows and columns.

3. Select the desired router matrix point that will replace the currently active matrix point and close the window.
