Effect Preset

Register customized effects to the [Effect] palette to apply the same effects quickly on another clip or to export it to be used on another EDIUS.

Creating Effect Preset

You can adjust an existing effect to create an original effect (user preset effect) and register it to the [Effect] palette. You can also register multiple effects as one effect.

1Click the part of a clip where the effect to be registered is applied on the timeline.
2Click the folder to register the effect in the [Effect] palette.
3Right-click on the effect name to be registered in the [Information] palette, and click [Save as Current User Preset].

The effect is registered in the folder selected in step 2. “U” appears on the icon of the registered effects.

4Enter a name.

Deleting Effect Preset

Delete a user preset effect.

1Select the user preset effect to be deleted in the [Effect] palette, and click [Delete].

If you want to delete an entire folder including the effect, select the folder and click [Delete].

2Click [Yes].

Importing/Exporting Effect Preset

Importing Effects (Import)

You can load an effect file with the extension “*.tpd” as a user preset effect.

1Right-click on the folder including the user preset effect to be loaded in the [Effect] palette, and click [Import].
2Select a file and click [Open].

A new folder is created in the selected folder, and the imported effect is registered to the folder.

Exporting Effects (Export)

You can export and save user preset effects. The extension of the saved file is “*.tpd”.

1Right-click on the effect or folder to be exported in the [Effect] palette, and click [Export].

The [Save As] dialog box appears.

2Set a file name and saving destination, and click [Save].
