Unpacking the system
- A set of box cutters is required to complete this procedure.
- Verify that all components were included in the box.
Note: Make sure to retain all packing materials, as well as the documentation and other
items included in the shipping box. The packaging materials must be used if the system is
relocated.
CAUTION:
Two people are needed to lift and move the system. Use care to avoid
injury.
- Cut the tape and open the box top cover to remove the system enclosure from the box.
- Remove rail kit and bezel from the top foam layers.
- Remove the top foam layers.
- Set aside the drives in a secure location.
- Remove the system from the box and set aside on an electro-static mat for later installation.
