Removing I/O Module from the Expansion Chassis

There are no tools required for this component replacement.

To remove the I/O Module, proceed as illustrated.

  1. Remove any cables attached to the I/O Module.
    Note: Mark the port location before removing attached cables for re-attachment after the I/O Module is replaced.
  2. Press the latch key downward (as shown by the red arrow below) to release the handle.

  3. After that, pull the latch key handle outward.

  4. Then, pull the I/O Module from its slot.
