Verification

This final step verifies the V:drive is working correctly.

  1. Using SiteConfig, Remote Desktop into the recently created System Manager: bdnew

  2. Copy the AMS_Express_SysManCfg-N.N.N.zip file to the Grass Valley VM.
  3. Extract the contents of the .zip file to a directory like c:\temp
  4. Execute AMS_Express_SysManCfg\RunMeSysManCfg.bat and wait for the configuration tool to open.
  5. Enter the information as shown below and click Configure.

  6. Click OK on the confirmation dialog.
  7. Restart the server then wait 2-3 minutes for it to come back up.
  8. After the Grass Valley VM has rebooted, Remote Desktop again into the System Manager VM: bdnew
  9. Click on This PC and ensure V: drive is mapped and operational.
