You can color-code clips placed on the timeline to categorize them.
1) Right-click a clip on the timeline, and click [Properties].
The [Clip Properties] dialog box appears.
Alternative
Select a clip, click [Clip] on the menu bar, and click [Properties].
Properties: [Alt] + [Enter]
2) Click the [File] tab, and select the desired color from the [Clip color] list.
