Create Proxy share

A GV STRATUS Lite system requires this process.

You must create a location for your the GV STRATUS system proxy media.

You must have a shared folder that both the GV STRATUS Lite PC and the GV Director Server can access.

  1. Using Windows Explorer, on the GV STRATUS Lite PC's system drive (the C:\ drive), create a new folder.
  2. Name the folder proxy. You now have the following folder:

    C:\proxy

  3. Right-click the folder and select Properties. The Properties dialog box opens.
  4. On the Sharing tab, click Advanced Sharing. The Advanced Sharing dialog box opens.
  5. Select Share this folder and then click Permissions. The Permissions dialog box opens.
  6. Select Everyone and then select Full Control.
  7. Click Apply and OK to save settings and close.
