Build a Compound Production Element Effect Using the Stage

Multiple production elements can be combined to form a composite effect using the Stage in the GV Director Touchpad. The compound effect can be rehearsed, named and saved, and taken to air from the Stage.

1. Open Stage in one of the following ways:
   • Tap Stage .
   • Press the Stage/PVW button on the Control Surface, below and left of the Touchpad.

   

2. Tap Clips & Stills .
3. Hold down the Stage/PVW button on the Control Surface and select a clip or still.

   Selecting a production element from within the Stage menu adds that element to the Stage.

4. Tap Effects .
5. Hold down the Stage/PVW button on the Control Surface and select an effect.
6. Tap Transitions .
7. Hold down the Stage/PVW button on the Control Surface and select a Transition.
8. Tap Rehearse.

   The compound production element effect is output to the Stage viewer and can be examined before taking it to air.

9. Tap the Save button . Production elements assigned to Control Surface buttons can also be placed in stage by holding down the Stage/PVW button then pressing a Control Surface button with a production element assigned.
10. Enter a name for the compound production element and tap Save .

    

11. Take the compound effect to air in one of the following ways:
    • Tap the Take button.
    • Press the Take button on the Control Surface, below and left of the Touchpad.
