Preview Production Elements with Stage

Preview and rehearse production elements in Stage before taking them to air, for example a last-minute graphic or timeline effect with text could be evaluated for on-air integrity before taking it to Program.

1. Select the Stagemenu in one of the following ways:
   • Tap the Stage button.
   • Press the Stage/PVW button on the GV Director Control Surface, below and left of the Touchpad.
2. Hold down the Stage/PVW button on the Control Surface and select a production element (including compound production elements and timeline effects) from the Stage menu in the Touchpad.

   

   The production element source is displayed in Preview on a connected monitor.
3. For a timeline effect, tap Rehearse. The production element plays out as it will on-air.
4. Take the production element to air in one of the following ways:
   • Tap the Take button.
   • Press the red Take button on the Control Surface, below and left of the Touchpad.
