Put an Effect On or Off Air

A simple search checks the name, tags, description, comments, and custom texts of the assets.

1. In an Asset List panel Location drop-down list, select the location (search provider) you want to search.
2. In the Simple Search tool, enter the word or a fragment from the beginning of a word.
3. To start the search, press Enter.
   • Selecting a button that has an Effect assigned either puts the effect to air or takes the effect off air.

   If an Effect is placed to air, the corresponding button on the Control Surface will light red to indicate that the Effect is currently on program.
   
   Note: How an effect is placed to air is determined by how it was designed in Composer. Transitioning effects do not use the Primary Transition.
