Set Output Signal Format

  1. Access the System Set-up menu with a top-to-bottom finger swipe on the Control Surface Touchpad. This menu provides selections for File Transfer (both Clips and Production Packs), Diagnostics and Configuration.

  2. Select the Configuration icon on the menu to access multiple sub-menu selections used in the configuration of the GV Director system. In Server Configuration window:

  3. Enter the Video Standard for the project. GV Director can be set to 1080i (50 Hz or 60 Hz), 720p (50 Hz or 60 Hz), NTSC or PAL.
    Note: If you change the video output format after you’ve powered up the system, you must restart the server to set the proper format conversion of miss-matched incoming signals.

    Incoming video can be a mix of formats. GV Director Server will convert incoming signals to match the output format. GV Director cannot mix interlaced signals with progressive signals.
