GV Director Control Panel Categories and Menus

The GV Director control panel is accessed by swiping down from the top center of the GV Director Touchpad. The control panel menus provide configuration, diagnostic, and system operation menu controls for the GV Director system.

Control Panel Category Control Panel Menu Description
Configuration Audio Mixer Set the audio levels, including mute, for each input; Select Input button provided (top right). Double-tap an audeo channel to reset to default settings.
Configuration Control Surface Setups Select a Control Surface setup that includes Control Surface button assignments.
Configuration Lever Arm Calibration Calibrate the Control Surface Lever Arm.
Configuration Multi-Viewer Setups Select a Multi-Viewer setup.
Configuration Production Packs Load a production pack.
Configuration Save Control Surface Setup Enter a filename and save the current Control Surface setup. Setups are saved with the loaded production pack.
Configuration Server Configuration Set the server parameters for:
  • Host Name
  • DHCP: Enable/Disable, IP Address, Subnet
  • Stratus: Reserved for future use
  • Video Standard
  • HDMI 1 and 2: Enable/Disable
  • Add/Delete RSS Feeds
Configure Server Reconnect Reestablish a server connection.
Diagnostics Server Information View current server settings for:
  • Software Version
  • Video Standard
  • GV Stratus Server IP Address
  • Subscription State
  • System Load
  • Server IP
  • Panel IP
  • Server Serial Number
  • Server Health
  • Panel Software Version
Diagnostics Server Restart Restart the server.
Diagnostics System Logs to USB Generate a zipped file of system logs to a USB external device connected to the GV Director Control Surface (rear).
Diagnostics Diagnostics View the current server setup information.
Diagnostics Server Restart Restart the server from the Control Surface.
File Transfer Send Media to Server Select a clip or still and provide a path to copy the file from a USB external device to the GV Director Server.
File Transfer Send Media to USB Select a clip or still and provide a path to copy the file from the GV Director Server to an external USB device.
File Transfer Send Production Pack to Server Select a production pack (.ppk file) on an external USB device and provide a path to copy the file to the GV Director Server.
File Transfer Send Production Pack to USB Select a production pack (.ppk file) in the GV Director Server and provide a path to copy the .ppk file to a USB external device.
Record Program Record Program Name and record a clip from Program.
