Add a Transition

To add a transition:

1. From the Projects window, select the Projects tab at the bottom.

   

2. Click on Add a Transition. This will add an item under Transitions and assign a default name Transition.
3. Click on the new item.

   

4. Select Rename to give the transition you are about to create your preferred name.

   Ipa-mixer is the object used to create transitions in Composer for GV Director.

   

5. Click on the arrow to the left of Ipa-mixer to expand the object. Front Plane and Back Plane selections are revealed.

   

   The Front Plane object represents the background video that is currently on air.

   The Back Plane object represents the new video that will be placed to air when the transition is complete.
