Configuring an N-Vision Router

Router Control for N-Vision Compact routers enables the expansion of the GV Director IO by enabling inputs to be “dynamic” which are fed externally by an N-Vision Compact router. Operators can then dynamically change router cross points directly from the GV Director panel. The first step in setting up router control in GV Director is to configure it. Use the N-Vision router set up screen to establish your IP Address if you haven’t already done so. You need to know the router's IP address before you configure it.

  1. From the Configuration menu, select Router.

    The Router Configuration screen displays.

  2. Enter your license number.
  3. From the Router Configuration screen, click Add. Tap the Router Name field to activate it.
  4. Enter a Name for the router.
  5. Enter the Router IP Address.
  6. Click Register. A list of sources and destinations for the router displays. You can add or delete the routers that display.
  7. Click Back.
