Create a New Effects Block

Follow the Create Compound Element steps above to add a different background element, transition and the GV Ticker effect (setting its actions to Off).

At the far right end of the first Effects Block is an action User Pause. This allows the first Effects Block to playout and wait for an operator command to continue the action in the second Effects Block

Double click on the User Pause to open the dialogue box that gives the choice to User Pause or Timed Pause.

User Pause: Stops the playback of remaining events in a Compound Element until the operator issues the command to continue.

Timed Pause: Allows the next effect block actions to continue after the designated period of time for the pause.

The completed Compound Element, when exported as a Production Pack to GV Director the Compound Element will appear in the Effects Pallet on the touchpad panel.
