Install the GV Director Server Rack Trays

The GV Director server rack trays are installed in the rack before the server. The rack trays are adjustable to fit various types of racks, including threaded and non-threaded applications.

With the center adapter screws loosened, adjust the rack tray assembly until the rack tray front and rear mounting brackets are positioned at the outside of the front and rear rack posts.
Fasten the front of the rack tray assembly through the rack post and into the rack tray nut bar (for non-threaded racks) with two truss screws in the center-most two holes. Rack tray nut bars are provided to accept truss head screws through the holes of a non-threaded rack. For threaded racks, the rack tray nut bars are not used.
Fasten the rear of the rack tray assembly through the rack post and into the rack tray nut bar (for non-threaded racks) with two truss screws in the top-most and bottom-most holes.
Tighten the center adapter screws for the rack tray (inward-facing side of the rack tray).
Repeat the procedure for the opposite rack tray assembly.
