Multi-frame Mirror Mode
Mirror mode provides redundancy to
the GV server. You now have the ability to set a primary and secondary server. To be
synchronized, both servers must have the same license type and software version, the same
video standard and the same production pack. During the process, the following data will be
synchronized:
- Flip Flop state
- Recording on both servers is stopped
- Both preview channels are cleared of their effects.
- Load graphs are removed for the GUI, Program and Preview channels.
- GPII
- RSS Feeds
- Secondary Server RSS feeds are removed.
- Primary RSS feeds are written to the secondary server.
- Effect Parameters are synchronized
- All Parameterized effects are deleted on the secondary server.
- All Parameterized effects are created on the secondary server to match the primary server.
- Object Effect properties are synchronized.
- Aux’s
- Aux pos1 and Aux pos2 are written to the secondary server from the primary.
- Object properties
- Compound Effects
- GPO effects
- GPO support is not implemented so the properties will not be synced
- Multi Viewer’s layout
- Multi Viewer’s assignment is entered on the secondary server and matched to the primary.
- Input
- Input names are synchronized from the primary server to the secondary server.
- Routers
- All secondary routers will be deregistered.
- All primary server routers will be registered on the secondary server.
- RSS feeds
- All feeds will be deleted off the secondary server.
- All feeds will be moved from the primary to the secondary including the type, depth, URL and name.
- Template Effects
- Each transition take point is synced.
- Transition duration is synced.
- Template Effects
- Each transition take point is synced.
- Transition duration is synced.
- Parallel Client Support
- Recorded clips will not be transferred to the secondary server.
