Change the host check command
- Navigate to the Configure | Advanced Configuration | Core Config Manager | Monitoring | Hosts page.
- Enter the Core Config Manager.
- Identify the host in
the list and click the Modify
button.
. The Host Management page opens.

Evaluate the
Check command drop-down list and proceed as follows:
- If the desired command is already defined, it is on the list. Select the command.
- If the desired command is not yet defined and so is not on the list, you must define a new command.
- If the list field is blank, a template is referenced for this host and the host check is referenced in that template. Change the host check command in the template. You can see a list of templates by clicking Manage Templates.
- If you changed a setting, click Save.
- Repeat steps for any other hosts to change the host check command.
- On the Hosts page, click Apply Configuration.
If you need to edit multiple hosts to use a check, edit the check command in the template. Editing a template affects all the hosts that are using the template.
