Creating a Profile Manager Profile
Profiles allow different types of services to be grouped with different types of
monitored systems or devices. A profile has a list of services and a list of hosts. The
profile’s services are applied to each host in the profile. Notifications for the profile’s
hosts and services are configured by associating contact groups with the profile.
- Navigate to Configure | Profile Manager | Profiles.
- Click Add New.
- Enter a profile name.

Select available items and use right/left arrow buttons to configure the following
lists:
- Using Services: The services associated with the profile.
- Using Hosts: The hosts associated with the profile.
- Using Contact Groups: The contact groups associated with the profile.
- Click Save.
