About the GV I/O Live Ingest and Playout Server

The GV I/O^® Live Ingest and Playout Server is a high-performance, cost-effective, COTS (commercial off the shelf) ingest and playout platform tailored for fast-turn production work flows on a 1 RU server with up to four SD or HD channels via SDI, NDI, SMPTE 2110, SMPTE 2022-6, and Web Stream inputs for recordings, and also SDI, NDI, and SMPTE 2110 outputs for playout. For UHD work flows, GV I/O allows up to three UHD channels (2 ingests and 1 playout) via SMPTE 2110 streams.

The latest GV I/O introduces additional options to support NDI inputs/outputs, SRT ingest input, Time Delay recording and playout, AppCenter support, and Mellanox ConnectX-6 network adapter card for SMPTE 2110 workflows. It seamlessly integrates with other Grass Valley products to provide a highly flexible and scalable end-to-end solution.
