About EDIUS Elite Home mode and Field mode

Home mode accesses high-resolution assets on the local home GV STRATUS system.

Use Home mode when :

The EDIUS Elite workstation has full bandwidth access to high-resolution assets on K2 storage.
Editing at your home GV STRATUS site.

Field mode accesses high-resolution assets on the local EDIUS Elite workstation and proxy assets on the home GV STRATUS site.

Use Field mode when:

The EDIUS Elite workstation has insufficient network access to high-resolution assets on K2 storage.
Editing outside your home GV STRATUS site using a laptop/PC or when you are mobile in the field.
Adding assets to the home GV STRATUS system from your field location site.
