GV STRATUS Client PC: Proxy media workflow

Description: A customer-supplied PC connected to the customer's corporate LAN or to the control network for a proxy media workflow.

SiteConfig "Add Device":
  • Family: GV STRATUS
    Note: Do not select the EDIUS family.
  • Device Type: GV STRATUS Client
  • Model: GV STRATUS PC or GV STRATUS/EDIUS PC (if using EDIUS XS)
SiteConfig Roles:
  • GV STRATUS Application
  • EDIUS (Required for EDIUS XS)
    Note: First install GV STRATUS software, run the GV STRATUS application, then install EDIUS software.
K2Config Roles:
  • None
SiteConfig cab files:
  • GrassValley_STRATUSClient_x.x.x.cab, which contains the following cab files that apply to this device:
    • GrassValley_STRATUS_Application_x.x.x.cab
  • EDIUS_x.x.x.cab (Required for EDIUS XS)
    Note: First install GV STRATUS software, run the GV STRATUS application, then install EDIUS software.
Licenses:
  • GV STRATUS license assigned/managed by Core Services server with role of Common Services.
  • EDIUS XS (Required for EDIUS XS). This is an EDIUS license and managed by EDIUS license management.
    Note: You must not have an EDIUS Elite license also installed. Running EDIUS XS and EDIUS Elite on the same client PC is not supported.
