Configure MEWS Engine

Only systems that send assets to Avid MediaComposer^® workstations require this process.

The MEWS system must be installed and operational.

In GV STRATUS Control Panel, navigate to Core | Engines | Xcode Control | Modify

Configure as follows:

Setting or button	Description
MEWS IP Address	The host name or IP address of the server that hosts the MEWS services that do the transcoding.
MEWS Maximum Concurrent Transcodes	Limits the number of simultaneous transcodes performed. Use to balance resource load on the transcode application host.
Save	Restarts the Xcode Control engine and applies changes.
Cancel	Reverts to previously saved setting.
