systems that send assets to Avid MediaComposer®
workstations require this process.
The server designated to host the MEWS software must be installed and operating
on the network.
Download the latest MEWS service installer from
Grass Valley and copy the installer onto the server.
Run the Installer Package
ServerMeWS_FIMS.msi.
Work through the installation wizard and when
prompted for Username and Password, enter credentials for your GV STRATUS
internal system account, which by default is GVAdmin. Enter the User Name as
follows:
If not a domain account, enter <machine
name>\<username>
If a domain account, enter <domain
name>\<username>
Click Next, Install, and
Finish to complete the installation wizard.
