K2 Central Storage setup and manual installation
Configure as follows:
- Disconnect network cables and unplug direct connections from K2 Central server to the K2 Summit clients.
- Disconnect the AC power to K2 Central and take out the front drives.
- Insert the USB thumb drive, load Acronis, and create a recovery image of the K2 Central.
- Reinsert the front drives and power on the K2 Central server.
- Configure the Control and FTP networks on the K2 Central server.
- Update hosts files and add to domain.
- Procure the 4.7.2_B50774_K2_Central SNFS software and install it manually. Then, reboot the K2 Central server.
- Procure the K2 Central software and install it manually on the K2 Central server.
- Install Discovery Agent, and select K2 Server as the server type.

If the system is added to a domain, authenticate DHCP on the K2 Central as
follows:
- Type DHCP in the Start menu.
- Open the DHCP application and authenticate the address.
- On the K2 Central desktop, run Storage Initializer to create a new file system. Then, reboot the K2 Central server.
- After initializing storage, run the K2 Central Config to set the number of FTP streams for K2 Central server to 10.
- Share the V: drive of the K2 Central, and create an EDIUS folder on the V: drive.

If the GVAdmin password was changed, update the following file on the K2 Central
server:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Grass Valley\STRATUS Summit Service\Atlas.Service.Summit.ServiceHost.exe.config
