Export rules for Workflow Server

If you have Rules and Workflow Engines located on a separate Workflow Server, both databases will be relocated to the Core Server machine after the GV STRATUS upgrade.

You must export rules to an XML file to avoid recreation of rules from scratch. After the GV STRATUS system upgrade, you can restore those rules via the GV STRATUS Control Panel.

In the GV STRATUS Control Panel application, go to General | Rules | Rules Monitor.
The Rules Monitor tab displays.
Select a rule or multiple rules that you want to export in the Rules Monitor.
Right-click on that rule(s) and select Export to XML | Save selected Rule.
You can also select Save all Rules if you want to export all your configured rules.
Browse to select the export location and click Save.
The rule is exported as an XML file to the selected location.

To restore those rules after the upgrade, you can go to Rules Monitor tab of the GV STRATUS Control Panel and select Import from XML from the context menu.
