External Media engine settings

These settings are optional on GV STRATUS systems.

To locate these settings, click Core | Engines | External Media | Modify

Setting or button Description
Verizon : Maximum Concurrent Transfers Limits the number of simultaneous transfers performed by the External Media engine on your Verizon CMS system account. You can configure the number of maximum concurrent transfers between 0-10 per Social Media - CMS platform. This setting is set to “0” if the Verizon site license is not installed.
General: Maximum Concurrent Transfers Limits the total number of simultaneous transfers performed by the External Media engine for all Social Media CMS platforms. Use to balance resource load on the system hosting the engine. If the engine is deployed without an External Media Engine license, this setting is set to “0” and cannot be configured. You can set up to 5 maximum concurrent transfers for each External Media Engine volume license.

Use these settings to balance resource load on the GV STRATUS server hosting the engine.

Note: One volume license for the External Media Engine limits the maximum concurrent jobs to five (5). It is possible to deploy more than one Engine per system for a larger operation. Each Engine must have its own license.
