When configuring an export rule, if you choose to
export thumbnails, you must define the thumbnail for an exported asset.
An export
thumbnail is defined by a tn marker added to the source asset. Multiple thumbnails are
exported when the source asset has multiple tn markers.
-
Load the asset into a GV STRATUS component that adds markers, such as Inspector, Source Viewer, or
Channel Panel.
-
In the asset, identify the image to use as an export
thumbnail.
-
Add a marker at the image location and name it as
tn.
The thumbnail at the marker is exported by the export rule.
You can see the export rule is automatically triggered in the
Rules Applied field on the Properties tab of the Inspector.
You can also see the thumbnail transfer progress in Jobs Monitor.
