Supported formats for YouTube
This specification applies to the publish of assets from GV STRATUS system to YouTube.
Formats supported are as follows:

TTML: Timed-Text Markup Language (.ttml) | In partial implementation. SMPTE-TT extensions supported for CEA-608 features. iTunes Timed Text (iTT) file format is supported; iTT is a subset of TTML, Version 1.0. Styling and positioning are supported. | ||
Scenarist Closed Caption (.scc) | These files have an exact representation of CEA-608 data, which is the preferred format whenever captions are based on CEA-608 features. | ||
Thumbnail | JPG | 1 thumbnail along with the Video/Audio content. YouTube creates three individual thumbnails per upload based on their algorithm, and only one can be selected as the clip thumbnail. |
Note: A standard YouTube account has the file size limitation of 2 GB and the clip duration
depends on the used video codec.
