- 4K is not supported on K2 SAN systems with clients that are connected via iSCSI. A 4K client must be connected via fibre channel.
- K2 SAN clients with iSCSI connections can only support a maximum of two 1080p records per client.
- RMI supports the import of 4K (QFHD) assets of single essence AVCI and playback as MXF file.
- EDIUS Workgroup supports 4K (QFHD) direct write as CMF file. (Provided that K2 XAVC Clip exporter is added to EDIUS Exporter dialog)
- GV Render Engine supports the proxy creation of 4K (QFHD) and 1080p assets.
- GVRE Transcoder supports the export of 4K (QFHD) assets via iSCSI/SMB and FTP connections.
- GVRE Transcoder supports the import of 4K (QFHD) assets via iSCSI/SMB connection only. If K2 Summit Access Protocols were configured to FTP, 4K (QFHD) import will fail since 4K GXF format is not supported.
- DIVA and FlashNet archive systems support archive, restore, and partial file restore (PFR) operations of 4K (QFHD) and 1080p assets.
- Masstech and Generic FTP archive systems support both archive and restore operations of 4K (QFHD) and 1080p assets.
- Masstech supports the partial file restore (PFR) operation of 1080p assets, but not 4K (QFHD) assets.
- Generic FTP archive system does not support the partial file restore (PFR) operation of any assets.
