Upgrade GV STRATUS server OS from Windows 2008/2012 to Windows 2016

The purpose of this upgrade is to provide GV STRATUS servers the use of the latest images/OS/SQL on new servers.

You must follow and apply upgrade steps in this section sequentially to upgrade your GV STRATUS system. These upgrade instructions apply to Core servers, Workflow servers, FSMs, FTP servers and GV Render Engine servers.

Note: The GV STRATUS system must be upgraded to the latest version first before upgrading the core server to Windows 2016, and that the user has basic knowledge of Microsoft SQL and Windows.
