Selecting a channel profile

Channel profiles can only be configured for GV I/O server's ingest channels.
Channel profiles have been added into the Channel Profile Setup tab for Ingest settings in the GV STRATUS Control Panel.

You can select a channel profile for each GV I/O channel from a drop-down list on the Scheduler tool.

Note: A channel profile is not allowed to be applied to a GV I/O channel within 10 seconds from the start of a scheduled event. Make sure that you have more than 10 seconds before a recording starts in the channel in order to successfully set the profile.

Select a GV I/O channel on the Scheduler, expand the channel drop-down, and enter details of the channel.
Select a channel profile from the Profile drop-down list.

A confirmation dialog appears.
Click OK to confirm your profile selection.

The profile is selected and applied to the GV I/O ingest channel.

Note: The selected channel profile is saved for each channel group in this GV STRATUS client. However, it will not sync across other GV STRATUS clients in the system.

To re-apply selected profile to the same channel in other GV STRATUS clients, go to the channel's Profile drop-down list in other clients and select "-" as shown below. Then, select the same channel profile.
