GV STRATUS supports the Proxy Streaming Server, which will allow the GV STRATUS Web Client to offer frame accurate playback of proxy material, within an HTML5 standard browser. This is essential for GV STRATUS Web Client users to edit clips, apply logging, create subclips, and generate STRATUS EDLs within a web client environment.

Important: The Proxy Streaming Server must be configured in order to use the Simple Editor tool in GV STRATUS Web Clients.

If you received your Proxy Streaming Server already set up from Grass Valley, skip set up tasks and do the test task only.
