Adding import transcode profiles with the XRE Transcoding Profile Tool

The Render Engine software must be installed and configured in the GV STRATUS Core server.
The STRATUS-TRANSCODE license must be installed in the GV STRATUS Core server.

You must use the XRE Transcoding Profile Tool to add transcode profiles of GVRE Transcoder into the GV STRATUS system.

Launch the XRE Transcoding Profile Tool from the path below:
- C:\Program Files\Grass Valley\XREServer 9\XRETranscodingProfileTool
  OR
- Double-click the XRE Transcoding Profile Tool shortcut on your desktop
The Log On dialog box opens.
Enter your user name and password, then click Log On.
Click on the Import tab to add transcode profiles for import rules.
Click Add.
The Format dialog box displays all registered formats in the GV STRATUS Control Panel.
Select format(s) for your import transcode profiles, and click Add.

Those selected formats will be available as transcode profiles of STRATUS Encoder when you configure import rules in the GV STRATUS Control Panel.
