GV I/O settings

These settings are optional on GV STRATUS systems, and only applicable to the GV I/O Live Ingest and Playback Server.

To locate these settings, click General | Channels | GV I/O

On the GV I/O tab, each row represents a channel of the GV I/O Live Ingest and Playback Server. These channels can either be used to ingest or playback clips in the GV STRATUS system.

Setting or button	Description
Channel Name	The name of the channel as configured in the GV I/O Live Ingest and Playback Server. The channel name can only be edited or changed in the GV I/O Live Ingest and Playback Server.
Signal Type	The GV I/O Input signal type selected for the channel. Available inputs depend on sources configured in your system such as SDI, SMPTE 2110, SMPTE 2022-6, and Web Stream. Note: Only SDI signal type is supported for Playout.
Channel Type	The channel type that can be configured is either Record or Playout on the GV I/O Live Ingest and Playback Server.
Input Signal	The input signal connected to the channel as configured in the GV I/O Live Ingest and Playback Server. The input signal can only be changed at the GV I/O Live Ingest and Playback Server.
Format	The format of assets supported as configured in Format settings of GV STRATUS Control Panel.
Save	Saves the current configuration of the selected channel.
