Upgrade Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for VS 2017

This task applies to the following:

All types/roles of GV STRATUS servers.
Client PCs hosting one or more of the following:
- GV STRATUS
- GV STRATUS Control Panel
- EDIUS XS
- EDIUS Workgroup

This task does not apply to the following:

K2 Summit systems, as they should have only Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for VS 2015 installed

From the Windows Start menu navigate to Control Panel | Programs and Features and check for the following:
Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for VS 2017
- If Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for VS 2017 is already installed, do not do the remainder of this task.
- If Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for VS 2017 is not installed, continue with this procedure.
Procure the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for VS 2017 installation file from the Microsoft software download page or the Grass Valley FTP site.
Select the installation file(s) as follows:
- For servers and Windows 64-bit OS client PCs, select the following:
  - vc_redist.x64.exe
  - vc_redist.x86.exe
- For Windows 32-bit OS client PCs, select the following:
  - vc_redist.x86.exe
Run the installation file and install as directed by the installation wizard.
