Upgrade GV STRATUS system with the DIVA Category Update Utility

The GV STRATUS software must have been upgraded on the GV STRATUS Core server.
There are no currently processing or running archive/restore workflows between DIVA archive and the GV STRATUS system.

This task applies to the following:

The GV STRATUS Core server

The DivaCategoryUpdateUtility.exe must be run on the GV STRATUS Core server after upgrading GV STRATUS software if you have DIVA archive in your system. Running the tool ensures existing GV STRATUS assets' associations paths are updated with the newly supported multiple DIVA categories.

Log on to the GV STRATUS Core server as an Administrator.
Locate the following file:
C:\Program Files\Grass Valley\STRATUS MDI DIVA\DivaCategoryUpdateUtility.exe

This file is copied to the GV STRATUS Core server during software deployment.
Run the DivaCategoryUpdateUtility.exe to update DIVA categories to assets' association paths in your GV STRATUS system.
The DIVA Category Update Tool opens.
Enter the name of the GV STRATUS Core server and click Connect.

If there are any conflicts, the Resolve Conflict section will be displayed.
Ensure the Name, Metadata ID (URN), and Category columns are shown (in that order), with a drop-down list in the Category column for users to select a DIVA category.
Do one of the following:
- Resolve any conflicts by assigning the correct DIVA category to assets. Then click Run.
- If there are no conflicts, just click Run.
The process is completed when the status changes to Updated in the DIVA Category Update Tool.

With a successful run of the DIVA Category Update Utility, the DIVA Category and Disk Array name will be displayed in the Path column of the Associations tab when you load a DIVA archived asset into the Inspector.
