GV STRATUS Version 6.9.1

  • Channel permission for Scheduler — GV STRATUS supports enhanced access control on Scheduler channels. To limit the access of ingest channels to users, administrators can now assign or deny channel permission to specific user or group in the GV STRATUS Control Panel. For more info, refer to Channel setup settings.
  • Inception enhancement — GV STRATUS introduces an enhancement of MOS workflow with the Ross® Inception Newsroom Computer System. With the new integration, placeholders can automatically be linked to clips after the drag and drop of assets from GV STRATUS ActiveX and Web Client into stories within the Inception system.   • GV I/O as K2 SAN client — The GV I/O Live Ingest and Playout Server can now be configured as a shared storage client in the K2 Summit SAN system. Previously, the GV I/O server can only be configured as a standalone device with local storage, or a shared storage client with GV AMS Pro - Advanced Media Storage system.   • New Fault Tolerant server — GV STRATUS supports a new FT system for the core server, which is a 4 RU Stratus® ftServer with two fault-tolerant blades in one overall chassis.
