Upgrade GV I/O systems that are accessed by the GV STRATUS system
- You have procured the necessary GV I/O software and prerequisite files for the upgrade. Go to Grass Valley products compatible with GV STRATUS and determine the compatible software versions required.
- All GV I/O systems must be configured according to these latest cabling instructions.
- Go to C:\Program Files\Grass Valley\MPI Core\ and execute the unreg_mpicore.bat script to unregister MPI Core DLLs.
- Uninstall MPI Core via Programs and Features in the system's control panel.

Review the content of C:\Program Files\Grass Valley\MPI Core\ to
ensure that it is empty.
Delete any remaining files in the directory if they exist.
- Launch the SiteConfig application and uninstall the current GV I/O software in the system.

On each GV I/O Live Ingest and Playout Server, manually install the following:
Refer to the compatibility table in release notes for specific version numbers.
Next, add GV I/O software package to the deployment group in the SiteConfig application.
