Linking clip to a placeholder

Select and double-click a clip in the Asset List.

The clip properties display in the Inspector.
In the Link To Placeholder tab, click the Missing Placeholders Only button to only display placeholders with missing clips.
Select a placeholder to link the clip to.
Click the Link Selected Placeholder button.

The placeholder name and ID filled in to replace the previous name of the clip. The clip is now linked and associated with the placeholder.

Note: Alternatively, you can just select and drag a clip in the Asset List, then drop it on a NOT READY placeholder in Assignment List to link them. However, multiple assets are not allowed to be dragged and dropped on a single placeholder.

After the linked clip is transferred to the playout server, the placeholder status in the Assignment List changes to READY and the placeholder duration is updated.
