Only systems that publish assets to Facebook
require this process.
- The express/core server,
workflow server, or separate server must be configured with the GV STRATUS
Social Media Engine role and deployed by SiteConfig.
- The Social
Media Engine must be running in GV STRATUS Control Panel Engines
settings.
- Both
"STRATUS-SMNSOCIALMEDIAENGINE” and “STRATUS-SMNFACEBOOK” licenses are
installed on the core/express or separate server.
Configure a location as follows:

In GV STRATUS Control Panel,
navigate to General | Locations Config | External Media |
Add.
The External Media Location Configuration dialog
appears.

workflow. This identifies the Facebook
location when publishing assets to your Facebook account via
the GV STRATUS application. |

Click Register.
A web-browser opens automatically for you to enter the account
credentials.

Enter the e-mail address and password of the Facebook account.

Select the Keep me logged in to GV STRATUS check-box and click
Log In.
The GV STRATUS permission page opens.

Click OK to allow GV STRATUS system to manage and publish assets on your
Facebook account.
In the Social Media Locations Configuration dialog, your Facebook user name
and email address are displayed.

Click the Pages drop-down list and select your Facebook page.

Click Apply to save the Facebook location configuration in the GV STRATUS Control Panel.
Next, configure the Publish External Media Network rule.
