Installing .NET Core

Do this task if:
  • The GV STRATUS server does not have Microsoft .NET Core 2.2.2 installed
  • The GV STRATUS server does not have Microsoft .NET Core 2.2.8 installed
This task applies to the following:
  • All types/roles of GV STRATUS servers
  1. On the GV STRATUS server, go to Windows Control Panel and select Programs and Features to check for currently installed .NET Core version(s), then proceed as follows:
    • If .NET Core 2.2.2 and 2.2.8 are installed, skip this task.
    • If .NET Core 2.2.2 is not installed, continue with this procedure.
    • If .NET Core 2.2.8 is not installed, continue with this procedure.
  2. Procure both .NET Core 2.2.2 and 2.2.8 installation files from the Microsoft software download page.
  3. Click the Hosting Bundle link in both .NET Core 2.2.2 and 2.2.8 download sections.

  4. Click Save File when the dialog appears for you to confirm the download process.

    Both installation files should be downloaded as below.

  5. Run both installation files and install .NET Core as directed by the installation wizard.
  6. Then, go to Windows Control Panel and select Programs and Features to confirm you have installed both .NET Core 2.2.2 and 2.2.8 as below.
