Configuring a live monitoring channel on the K2 Summit system

This feature is part of the ChannelFlex Suite.

The following licenses must be installed:

If you do not have DynoZoom, you can still do basic live monitoring.

Open Configuration Manager and click Channel.
Select your Program play channel.
For Type, select Player/Recorder.
If desired, assign a name to the channel.
For Record proxy files, select No.
In the Proxy Setup setting, set Live network streaming to Yes.
The channel generates low-latency streaming media, which can be displayed on a K2 Dyno Replay Controller.

Set this on the Program channel only. Multiple channels generating low-latency streaming media can overload network bandwidth.
Set Stream bitrate to the lowest setting appropriate for your required image quality.
High bitrate streaming media can overload network bandwidth.
Click Save and OK to close.
