Configuring the free run timecode setting

When you select this setting along with a timecode source setting, the K2 Summit system system ignores any dropouts or discontinuities in the incoming timecode after a recording starts. You must make this setting on each channel. It is not a global, system-wide setting.

  1. Click on the channel whose timecode you want to specify.
  2. Select Control | Options. The Options dialog box displays.
  3. Select the Timecode tab.
  4. Select the Free run while recording checkbox and then click OK.
