Update the K2 Central Image

  1. Ensure the media drives are not inserted.
  2. Insert the K2Central USB drive into the K2Central if it is not already inserted. Restart the system to allow the system to boot to WinPE.
  3. Enter 2 to run Acronis. Press Enter.

  4. From Acronis select Recovery using the mouse.

  5. At the Welcome to the Restore Data Wizard! screen select Next.
  6. At the Backup Archive Selection screen select the + at the left of Computer to expand the folders under it.

  7. Select the + to the left of Removable Disk to expand the folders under it.
  8. Select the + to the left of Images under Removable Disk to expand the files under it.

  9. Select the archive file K2central_v1-11.tib. Select Next.
  10. At the Restore Disks or Partitions screen select Next.
  11. At the Partition or Disk to Restore screen check the box next to Disk 1. This should check all boxes next to the partitions listed below it. Select Next.

  12. At the Restored Partitions Resizing screen select the circle to the left of No, I do not want to resize partitions. Select Next.
  13. At the Restored Hard Disk Drive Location screen select the line Disk 1…Intel Raid 1 Volume 1.0. Select Next.
  14. At the Non-empty Destination Hard Disk Drive screen select the circle to the left of Yes, I want to delete all the partitions on the destination hard drive before restoring. Select Next.
  15. At the Next Selection screen select the circle next to No, I do not. Select Next.

  16. At Choose Restore Options select the circle to the left of Use default options. Select Next.

  17. At the next Restore Data Wizard screen the summary of what will be done is presented in the scrolling dialog box. Select Proceed to start the reimage.

  18. After the restore is complete remove the USB drive and reboot.
  19. On the first boot Sysprep will configure and update the system software. This might require multiple reboots that the system will do on its own. Let it do it’s job. At some point it will ask you to enter the name of the system. Enter it and continue.
  20. When system initialization is complete the Windows Server 2012 R2 main screen will be presented.

  21. Log in as Administrator. Allow the user preferences and other work to proceed.

  22. Verify Windows Server 2012 R2 is working correctly.
