Prepare for the Updates

Prior to reimaging, you will need to prepare for the updates.

1. Download the software (get passwords from you support contact).
   1. ftp://ftp.grassvalley.com/whateverthepathis/K2/Test-Versions/9.5/9.5.5.2286/955b2286_K2Central.exe
   2. ftp://ftp.grassvalley.com/whateverthepathis//K2/Test-Versions/9.5/9.5.5.2286/955b2286_K2Client.exe
   3. ftp://ftp.grassvalley.com/whateverthepathis//Dyno/Unreleased_SW/Dyno351b416.zip
2. Download the updated K2Central image and RAID Controller Firmware (get password from your support contact)
   1. ftp://ftp.grassvalley.com/whateverthepathis//K2/Test-Versions/K2Central/K2central_v1-11.zip
   2. ftp://ftp.grassvalley.com/whateverthepathis//K2/Test-Versions/K2Central/K2Central_RAID_Firmware.zip
3. Unpack the downloaded software and image. Place the software onto the USB drive that came with the device.
   1. K2Central software onto the K2Central USB drive at \release.
   2. K2Central image onto the K2Central USB drive at \images.
   3. K2Central RAID Controller Firmware onto the K2Central USB drive at \release\iMR68p.rom.
   4. K2Client software onto the K2 Summit USB drive at \release.
   5. Dyno software onto the Dyno USB drive at \release.
4. Save any needed files on the media and proxy storage to external storage.
