Before using VARICAM devices to input/output video, register VARICAM devices connected to the PC via the IEEE1394 interface in advance as device presets.
To connect the AJ-HD1200A via the IEEE1394 interface, the option board must be attached.
The following explains points when registering VARICAM devices as device presets. For details about the procedure for registering device presets and other information, see Registering Device Presets .
When setting [Video Format] at [Input H/W, Format Settings] in the Preset Wizard, refer to the explanation about each of the following formats:
1280x1080 59.94i 1440x1080 50i |
When importing from DVCPRO HD standard-compliant equipment, select the format that matches the respective frame frequency setting used when the video was shot. |
960x720 59.94p |
Use this when capturing sources taken with VARICAM without referencing active frame information or when capturing content taken with AJ-HDX900, for example, whose format signals are 720/59.94p, 720/29.97p or 720/23.98p. |
960x720 Constant Rate Shooting over 60p 960x720 Constant Rate Shooting over 59.94p |
Select a format that matches the respective VARICAM frame frequency setting used when the video was shot. Only frames set with active frame information are captured. |
960x720 50p |
Use this when capturing content taken with AJ-HDX900, for example, whose format signals are 720/50p and 720/25p. |
